Galen Ward founded Estately with Doug Cole in 2006 with the vision of making it easier for consumers to find the right home for them. Before starting Estately, he worked with large spatial databases for public agencies in the Pacific Northwest and for the EPA in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. He is passionate about UI, data crunching and the bottom line.
Doug Cole founded Estately with Galen Ward in 2006. Before founding Estately, Doug was a freelance programmer and web developer, hand built extremely high-end audio equipment, and was enrolled in a PhD-track mechanical engineering program. Doug graduated with a double major in physics and computer science from Macalester College in Minneapolis.
John Wulff started at Estately by interning early in 2007 and has since become an integral part of the development team. John was an Estately fan from the beginning and has worked primarily under the hood at Estately, improving stability, developing features, and building out Estately's infrastructure. John has a BS in Informatics from the University of Washington and has been using Ruby on Rails since mid 2005.
Shaun Grady is Estately's graphic designer and front-end web developer. Shaun initially interned with Estately in early 2007 and became an employee one year later. Shaun graduated from The Art Institute of Seattle with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, and has over 6 years of professional front-end web design and development experience.
Courtney Vester joined Estately in late 2008 and is Estately's lead people person, managing client and agent relations. Courtney has a degree in Sociology from the University of Washington, and has worked in real estate for over eight years. Prior to working at Estately she was a commercial property manager for medical, office and industrial real estate portfolios.
Donald Anderson is Estately's licensed broker in the state of Washington. Donald has over 30 years experience in the real estate industry.
Kevin Boer is Estately's licensed broker in the state of California.
