From Asheville, take I-40 to exit 27, US 74 to exit 85 (first Sylva exit), to left on to NC 107 and Western Carolina University. At the third traffic light in university area, take a right into the Village of Forest Hills and then a quick left onto South Country Club Drive. Proceed on South Country Club for about mile and a half. Road narrows at one mile to single, paved road as the maintenance transitions from state maintenance to the Village of Forest Hills.
