The Waste King garbage disposal was replaced in 2019. There is even space for a café table or a kitchen cart for additional storage. A WIFI water detector was installed in the kitchen under the sink to detect and immediately report to the owner any leaks from the dishwasher, sink or garbage disposal. Being on the corner means the extra-large bedroom has both north- and west-facing window exposures for loads of light and the second private balcony directly off the bedroom for sips of morning coffee in the fresh air and panoramic views of Columbia Heights. You can even glimpse the National Cathedral off in the distance. Just off the bedroom is an open foyer/hallway with the spacious bathroom and the hall closet containing the full-sized side-by-side washer and dryer and shelving for storage. There are SO many upgrades in this unit! -HVAC system (both the air handler and the condenser unit on the roof) was replaced in the summer of 2021.
