When there are only 2 privately owned tracts in the middle of the Swan Quarter National Wildlife Refuge, you have to capitalize on the opportunity! Located on Caffee Bay on the east side of Swan Quarter Bay right before the bay spills into the Pamlico south and only a short 3.6 mile boat ride from the NC Wildlife Boat ramp on the south side of Swan Quarter.''Big Water'' waterfowl hunting is no more convenient than pulling up to your box blind on the Bay edge with decoys waiting on you and a blind to protect you from the elements. No more jockeying at the boat ramp to make sure you are the first one in the water to get the location you want! This 90 acre property is one of the only two privately owned properties on Caffee Bay and in the middle of the Swan Quarter National Wildlife Refuge. This bay is known to be a highly successful bay for waterfowlers from puddle ducks, divers, and even Sea Ducks rounding the point to avoid rough waters and find protection when the sound is rough. While taking pictures of this remote property I noticed 4 different pairs of resident Black Ducks that call the interior ''pot-holes'' home. There is a finger creek that runs the western boundary of the property heading north where you can continue away from Caffee Bay for another 1/2 a mile then the remainder could be traversed with a small flat bottom of aluminum boat to get you to the more inland side of the property where sections of high ground are where there have been black bears and deer harvested. Though its still a marshy, saturated, soil on the inland side there is a plethora of game trails weaving throughout the property.Imagine setting up camp and spending the night on the shore front waiting for the sun to crest over the horizon and already being at your hunting location or ready to pull the boat around the point and start your morning fishing the bay.

As a licensed real estate brokerage, Estately has access to the same database professional Realtors use: the Multiple Listing Service (or MLS). That means we can display all the properties listed by other member brokerages of the local Association of Realtors—unless the seller has requested that the listing not be published or marketed online.
The MLS is widely considered to be the most authoritative, up-to-date, accurate, and complete source of real estate for-sale in the USA.
Estately updates this data as quickly as possible and shares as much information with our users as allowed by local rules. Estately can also email you updates when new homes come on the market that match your search, change price, or go under contract.
