Pronghorn and mule deer are common inhabitants with the occasional sighting of elk. The direct frontage and visibility along Interstate 25 presents the possibility of future commercial development. Wind, solar, or conservation easement are all possible uses. The town of Walsenburg and its amenities are a short 5 minute drive for the ranch.
