Another spring, another crazy real estate market in the Bay Area. Once again, Berkeley tops the list of crazy bidding wars with 90% of homes selling over asking price, but is Mountain View cooling? Mountain View dropped 11 spots compared to last March, the biggest drop of any city on our list. San Leandro, Union CityMilpitas and Hayward are all heating up, outpacing many of their historically competitive neighbors. Even historically less-competitive areas like Richmond and San Rafael are heating up.
